Panic alarm monitoring allows the person under duress to quickly and silently call the Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC), for help in the event of an emergency.
Panic alarms are used when it is unsafe to call for help in other ways. Theses alarms are often interfaced to a video surveillance system to provide real-time recording when a panic button has been pressed. At the Alarm Receiving Centres (ARC), the video surveillance system automatically displays the appropriate cameras whenever a panic button has been activated. This allows the Controller to assess in order to send the proper response.
