GARDA POLICY Domestic intruder alarms that do not have verification technology installed will have their Garda response withdrawn following one false activation. These alarms cannot be reinstated until verification technology is installed. In order to ensure a continued Garda intruder alarm response after the 31st January 2008 all intruder alarm systems must be upgraded with verification technology.
